Northern Lights Display - June 2020

The stadium's Northern Lights Display is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline. BC Place is honoured to be able to help bring awareness to events, charities and non-profit causes that are important to communities in British Columbia.
Here are the stadium's lighting initiatives for June:
June 1st - Blue for Deafblind Awareness Month
June 2nd - Purple for ALS Awareness Month
June 3rd - Red for Stroke Awareness Month
June 4th - Green for Thyroid Awareness Month
June 5th - Blue & Green for World Environment Day
June 6th - Teal for Tourette Awareness Month
June 7th - Blue for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
June 8th - Blue for World Oceans Day
June 9th - Blue for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
June 10th - Blue for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
June 11th - Blue for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees

June 13th - Red in advance of World Blood Donor Day on June 14th
June 14th - Green for Ride Don't Hide Virtual Event

In addition to these lighting initiatives, the stadium will be lighting up with a heart animation at the top of each hour (between 7pm and 11pm) for 5 minutes every night to show support for health care professionals across the province who are working tirelessly to support our communities through the COVID-19 pandemic.
