Over 500 Scouts to sleepover on the field at BC Place
September 26th, 2019
The largest slumber party in the city is happening at BC Place this weekend! The stadium will host over 500 deserving Scouts and their families for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sleepover on the field after the BC Lions game on Saturday, September 28th.
The BC Lions have teamed up with local Scout groups to offer hundreds of kids the epic experience of sleeping over on the playing field and watching a movie on the big screen after the big game. Scouts will also have the unique opportunity to hold the Canadian flag on the field in front of thousands of fans during the National Anthem and earn a Scouts Night Badge.
A portion of every ticket sold for the event goes to The No One Left Behind Program, an effort to ensure that every youth is provided with the opportunity to experience new adventures with a local Scouts Canada program. Through No One Left Behind, membership fees and related costs are subsidized for youth from families facing economic barriers.
