Northern Lights Display: August 2024

BC Place is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline and a place of pride for all British Columbians. Besides enhancing the overall guest experience during events, the stadium’s Northern Lights Display is used to amplify important causes upon request from the community.
Below is the complete Northern Lights Display schedule for August (subject to change).
August 2: orange for Autoinflammatory Awareness Month
August 4: Progress Rainbow flag for Vancouver Pride
August 5: blue, white, red, & yellow for BC Day
August 6: green for Gastroparesis Awareness Month
August 7: pink & yellow for World PVNH Disorder Awareness Day
August 9: teal, orange, & red International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples
August 12: green for International Youth Day
August 19: light blue for World Humanitarian Day
August 28: Maple Leaf show for 2024 Summer Paralympics opening
August 29: purple for International Overdose Awareness Day (August 31)
