(Vancouver) The 2011 Grey Cup Festival and the BC Lions Football Club are pleased to announce that the ticket sales to the 99th annual Grey Cup Championship game are already selling at a frantic pace.
“We’re really excited by the enthusiastic response we’ve been getting from CFL fans across Canada. Just two days after going on sale to the general public the 2011 Grey Cup Championship is already 86% sold,” said Scott Ackles, General Manager of the 2011 Grey Cup Festival. “There are fewer than 7,000 seats remaining for what we know will be an outstanding event in an amazing new venue. We definitely encourage fans to secure their seats soon to ensure they don’t miss out.”

The 99th annual Grey Cup Championship will kick off Sunday, November 27th. As Canada’s largest sporting event, the Grey Cup and Grey Cup Festival are a uniquely Canadian celebration of sport and culture with a storied history and deep traditions. Tickets are available to purchase from $125 plus HST and convenience fees. Limit 8 per person. Hosted by the BC Lions Football Club, the 2011 Grey Cup Festival is a four-day festival that will take place throughout downtown Vancouver from November 24 through 27, 2011. With events ranging from free family oriented entertainment to ticketed concerts, the more than 25 events of the 2011 Grey Cup Festival aim to welcome Canadians to Vancouver in celebration of Canada’s largest sporting event.
