BC PLACE GLOWS YELLOW TO MARK BEGINNING OF THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY’S DAFFODIL MONTH
Vancouver, BC: The Northern Lights roof lighting display at BC Place will be illuminated “yellow” on April 1 in support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil campaign taking place during the month of April.
The Daffodil campaign asks Canadians to wear a daffodil pin to support people fighting cancer and remember those who have died. Visit www.cancer.ca to find out more about the Daffodil campaign.

About the ‘Northern Lights’ at BC Place
The stadium roof façade – known as the Northern Lights Display - uses 1700 ‘ETFE’ panels, stacked four rows high, and 6,800 linear feet of energy-efficient LED lights to create customizable lighting displays. BC Place has used the entire roof to promote specific events, create seasonal displays and raise awareness for community and charitable organizations.
