FIFA Women's World Cup tickets go on sale
Tickets for the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ are on sale, with fans able to get their hands on a place at every match at the tournament, which will be showcasing the finest talent in the women's game.
Supporters can now book their seats in any of the stadiums across the six host cities, with the action set to kick off on 6 June. Fans can also purchase Stadium Passports or Stadium Half Passes – earning them access to all or half of the games at a particular venue – while granting them first-come, first-serve access to tickets to the final in Vancouver at the time of purchase. Tickets for the climax will start from $50 for Category 4, with the tournament committed to encourage access for all.
As well as putting them at the front of the queue for the showpiece match on 5 July, supporters will also be getting up to 25 per cent discount on standard ticket prices, the ability to share their stadium ticket amongst family or friends and securing themselves the same seat for each game. Stadium Passports will be available for each venue, while the Stadium Half Pass can be purchased for BC Place Stadium (Vancouver); Commonwealth Stadium (Edmonton); and Olympic Stadium (Montreal).
"The FIFA Women's World Cup is the pinnacle of international football, featuring the best of the best in a 24-nation, 52-match final competition," said Victor Montagliani, Chair of the National Organising Committee for the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015. "This is your opportunity to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience with final matches to be played in our six Canadian host cities: Vancouver, British Columbia; Edmonton, Alberta; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Ottawa, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Moncton, New Brunswick."
Additionally, groups and clubs will be given access to discounts for orders of 11 or more, as well as cash-back incentives and the chance to be involved in the tournament's youth programme.
