BC Place to wear purple for "purple day" epilepsy awareness campaign
Vancouver, BC: The Northern Lights roof lighting display at BC Place will be illuminated “purple” on March 26th in support of Purple Day - a day dedicated to increasing awareness about epilepsy.
On March 26, the BC Epilepsy Society and Center for Epilepsy and Seizure Education encourages British Columbians to join others around the world by wearing purple in support of epilepsy awareness. For information about Purple Day activities in BC, please contact:

About the ‘Northern Lights’ at BC Place
The stadium roof façade – known as the Northern Lights Display - uses 1700 ‘ETFE’ panels, stacked four rows high, and 6,800 linear feet of energy-efficient LED lights to create customizable lighting displays. BC Place has used the entire roof to promote specific events, create seasonal displays and raise awareness for community and charitable organizations.
