BC Place Lighting up Blue and White for International Guide Dog Day

April 26 is International Guide Dog Day and BC Place will celebrate by lighting up blue and white tomorrow!
With this special lighting, we hope to bring awareness to this day of celebration and also highlight Guiding Eyes for the Blind and the amazing work they do!
Guiding eyes is a nonprofit organization that provides superbly bred and trained dogs to people who are blind or visually impaired. They rely solely on donations and graduate approx. 160 Guide Dog teams annually at no cost to the handler. Once trained, these K9 heroes return to their homes in Canada, USA and abroad with their visually impaired friends to continue their extremely important job.
