Rugby Canada to bid for four more years on the increasingly popular World Rugby Sevens Series

Rugby Canada announced today that they will be bidding once again for the rights to host the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, from 2020 through to 2023. As the 2018 HSBC Canada Sevens tournament enters into its third of 4 years in Canada, work is well underway to regain the rights from World Rugby to host the wildly successful event beyond the current hosting agreement, which expires in 2019. With less than a month to go before the 2018 HSBC Canada Sevens,organizers are encouraging fans to show their support for the event by filling BC Place Stadium on March 10th and 11th, and showcasing to the world that rugby in Vancouver is here to stay.
