BC Place lights up blue and green for NF Awareness

BC Place will light up blue and green today in advance of NF Awareness Day on Friday, May 17th.
NF Awareness Day is an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public about, Neurofibromatosis (NF). NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumours to grow on nerves throughout the body, and may cause blindness, deafness, bone abnormalities, disfigurement, learning disabilities, disabling pain and cancer. More than 15,000 Canadians, and two million people worldwide, battle this disorder.
