BC Place glows purple for ALS Awareness Month
June 1st, 2019
BC Place will glow purple for ALS Awareness Month on Saturday, June 1st.
Over 3,000 Canadians live with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. It is a fatal and rapidly progressive neuromuscular disease, which robs a person of their ability to speak, walk, eat or breathe – trapping an active mind in a deteriorating, immobilized body.
