BC Place lights up pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

BC Place will light up pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Wednesday, October 9th.
Approximately one in eight Canadian women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime and one in every 28 women is expected to die from the disease. Regular screening mammograms can find breast cancer early, usually before it has spread. Research has shown a 25 per cent reduction in deaths from breast cancer among women who are screened regularly.
