BC Place lights up in support of Waste Reduction Week

BC Place will light up blue and green today in support of Waste Reduction Week, happening across Canada from October 21st to October 27th.
Canada has been celebrating Waste Reduction Week (WRW) since 2001. The national campaign focuses on waste reduction and resource conservation through personal engagement and behaviour change. The program’s educational resources and “take action” messaging empower all Canadians to adopt more environmentally conscious choices. The Recycling Council of BC (RCBC), a non-profit organization, is a provincial partner of WRW and leads the promotional and educational campaign in British Columbia.
