BC Place lights up for National Nursing Week

BC Place will light up blue to mark the start of National Nursing Week on Monday, May 11th.
National Nursing Week 2020 takes place from May 11th through May 17th. The initiative is held every May to coincide with the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. This year marks the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birthday.
The week draws attention to nurses, increasing the awareness of the public, policy-makers and governments of the many contributions of nursing to the well-being of Canadians.
