BC Place lights up for World Parkinson's Day 2021

BC Place will light up teal and magenta to recognize World Parkinson's Day on Sunday, April 11th.
April is Parkinson's Awareness Month, with World Parkinson’s Day acknowledged on April 11th. Parkinson's disease is caused by a degeneration of the cells which produce dopamine in the substantia nigra area of the brain. There are approximately 100,000 people with Parkinson's in Canada, approximately 13,000 in British Columbia.
