BC Place glows purple for World PH Day 2021

BC Place will glow purple to recognize World Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Day on Wednesday, May 5th.
Pulmonary hypertension is a rare and potentially fatal lung disease for which there is no cure. It is a condition that affects the arteries of the lungs, hindering the flow of blood and oxygen to the heart. People living with PH suffer from continuous high blood pressure in the lungs, which results in an enlargement of the heart. If left untreated, this will often lead to a weakness of the ride-side of the heart, a serious type of heart failure.
