BC Place will light up blue and green to celebrate Tourism Week across Canada on Wednesday, May 26th.
Did you know prior to COVID-19, tourism in Canada was a $105 billion sector that employed over 1.8 million workers?
Tourism Week, May 23-30, 2021, is a coast to coast to coast event to recognize Canada’s tourism economy, and the impact it has on every community across the country.
This year, the initiative aims to recognize the resilience of the industry through this unprecedented time. Tourism Week also celebrates the magnificence of our country and how each region of Canada delivers unique experiences vital to the tourism ecosystem.
