BC Place glows green for Spina Bifida Awareness Month

BC Place will glow green to recognize Spina Bifida Awareness Month on Thursday, June 17th.
June is National Spina Bifida Awareness Month. Did you know spina bifida is the number one physically disabling birth defect in newborns? Spina bifida occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly. It falls under the broader category of neural tube defects. The neural tube is the embryonic structure that eventually develops into the baby's brain and spinal cord and the tissues that enclose them.
