Canada Soccer's Men's National Team returns to British Columbia in June for Concacaf Nations League at BC Place

Canada will open their 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League A schedule at BC Place this June in Vancouver, British Columbia. The home match will be Canada’s opening fixture of Concacaf Nations League A against Curaçao on Thursday 9 June. Canada then play away in their second Concacaf Nations League A match against Honduras in San Pedro Sula on Monday 13 June.
Tickets for the BC Place match will go on sale to the public on Saturday 14 May at 10.00 local (13.00 ET / 10.00 PT) via Ticketmaster.ca.
Canada Soccer has cancelled the international match that was scheduled for 5 June 2022 against Iran as part of the Men’s National Team preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. Additional details will be provided to all ticket purchasers.

In advance of the public on sale, members of Canada Soccer’s CanadaRED fan membership program will have access to purchase tickets via exclusive presale windows. On Thursday 12 May, CanadaRED+GOLD members will have access to an initial priority presale window, followed by CanadaRED+WHITE members later that same day. On Friday 13 May, all CanadaRED members will have access to an advance presale window.
The Canada v Curaçao match kicks off at 19.30 local on Thursday 9 June (22.30 ET / 19.30 PT) and the Honduras v Canada kicks off at 20:00 local (22:00ET / 19:00PT).
This will mark Canada’s first home match since qualifying for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ after finishing first overall in the Concacaf Final Round. It will also mark the Men’s National Team’s first match at BC Place since a 4:1 win over French Guiana on 24 March 2019 in Concacaf Nations League Qualifying.
This marks the second edition of Concacaf Nations League, with Canada having finished second in their group in the inaugural 2019-20 edition with a 3-0-1 record. Canada posted back-to-back wins against Cuba in September 2019 and then a home win and away loss against USA in October and November 2019. The 2:0 win against USA at BMO Field was Canada’s first against their Concacaf neighbours in 34 years. USA went on to win the inaugural competition with a 3:2 a.e.t win over Mexico on 6 June 2021.
Beyond the first two group matches in Concacaf Nations League A in June 2022, Canada will face Curaçao away on 25 March 2023 and then Honduras back home on 28 March 2023. Locations and details for those two Concacaf Nations League matches will be announced in the coming year.

CANADA SOCCER’S MEN’S NATIONAL TEAM PROGRAM
Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team are the reigning Kings of Concacaf, having finished first overall in the Concacaf Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers from September 2021 to March 2022. It marked the third time that Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team won a Concacaf title, having previously won the 1985 Concacaf Championship and the 2000 Concacaf Gold Cup. Canada now look forward to their second participation at the men’s FIFA World Cup with group matches against Belgium on 23 November, Croatia on 27 November, and Morocco on 1 December.
