Taylor Swift: Eras Tour + The Patio Giveaway - Contest Rules & Regulations

THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO BRITISH COLUMBIA RESIDENTS ONLY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAWS. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. VOID IN WHOLE OR IN PART, WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ENTRY IN THE CONTEST CONSTITUTES FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF, AND AGREEMENT TO BE BOUND BY, THESE CONTEST RULES (THE “CONTEST RULES”).

PRIZE DETAILS:
Two (2) tickets for admission valued at $430 each before taxes and fees to one show of the Taylor Swift: Eras Tour '24 at BC Place on December 6-8, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:
The Taylor Swift: Eras Tour + The Patio Giveaway Contest (the “Taylor Swift Patio Contest”) is open to residents of British Columbia only, who are at least 19 years of age at the time of entry, but excluding employees of B.C. Pavilion Corporation (“PavCo”), employees of official suppliers to PavCo, and immediate relatives or partners to those individuals.

By participating in the Taylor Swift Patio Contest, entrants agree to share their name, email, and phone number with PavCo for use relating to Contest purposes only.

CONTEST PERIOD:
The Patio Contest begins on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 2 pm PDT to Monday, August 5, 2024, at 9 pm PDT,  from Friday, August 30, 2024 at 2 pm PDT to Monday, September 2, 2024, at 9 pm PDT.

CONTEST ENTRY:
THERE IS NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE CONTEST. To enter into the Contest, entrants must:

• Take a picture of themselves while in attendance at The Patio at BC Place from Friday, August 2, 2024 to Monday, August 5, 2024, or from Friday, August 30, 2024 to Monday, September 2, 2024. Elements of the venue and the entrant's face must be depicted in the image to confirm physical attendance of The Patio.
• Send the picture via email to ThePatio@bcpavco.com with the entrant's name.
• Each photo email submission with a unique email address with the above requirements counts as one (1) entry in the contest.
• For an additional entry, entrants may also post their picture on Instagram while tagging @bcplacestadium. For entry to be counted, the Instagram account must be set to public.

Use of any artificial intelligence or automated system to create or submit an entry is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

PRIZE SELECTION: 

One (1) winner will be chosen by a random number generator. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. Each potential winner will be notified via email and must correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question, and must present a government photo ID to be declared the winner. PavCo will then email, and the potential winner will be required to sign and return within one (1) business day, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release which:

• confirms compliance with the Contest Rules; and
• releases PavCo and its directors, officers, agents, representatives and employees from and against any liability in connection with the Contest, the entrant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof.

Once the winner returns the executed Affidavit of Eligibility and Release to PavCo, PavCo will announce the winner on the Contest Announcement Post caption. 

BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, THE ENTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEIR NAME WILL BE POSTED ON PAVCO’S SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT, WHERE IT MAY BE VIEWED, SHARED AND COMMENTED ON BY PAVCO AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

If a potential winner: (a) does not respond to PavCo’s direct message announcing them as the potential winner within 24 hours, (b) does not correctly respond to the skill-testing question within 24 hours, or (c) does not return the fully executed Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within the prescribed time, they will be disqualified without compensation and another potential winner will be selected until one (1) winner has been announced.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
The prize is non-transferable, cannot be sold or bartered, and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions are permitted. The winner is solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein.

The winner must pick up the ticket in-person with photo ID at BC Place on the day of the concert.

The prize may be revoked at any time for any reason by PavCo, including but not limited to, breaching rules of entry on BC Place Stadium property.

The winner agrees to abide by any and all rules and regulations of BC Place Stadium.

GENERAL:
All entries are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. PavCo shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to PavCo for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. PavCo reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.

PavCo reserves the right to cancel, suspend, withdraw or change the Contest Rules at any time, without prior notice or obligation.

By entering a Contest, each entrant releases and holds the PavCo and its directors, officers, agents, representatives and employees (the “Releasees”) harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrants or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of the Contest Rules, or in any prize-related activity. Each entrant agrees to fully indemnify the Releasees from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, without limitation.

PRIVACY:
By entering this Contest, entrants expressly consent to the collection, storing, use, and disclosure of their personal information by PavCo for the purposes of this Contest and in accordance with PavCo’s Privacy Policy (a copy of which is available upon request). Personal information will not be used for any other purpose without consent.
