Community invited inside BC Place to view construction progress

BC Place will open its doors on Sunday, July 31st, to give the community an inside look at the construction progress. Visitors can walk onto a section of the floor of BC Place as workers continue installing the new retractable roof, seats and other interior upgrades.
"This is an amazingly complex project, and it’s really something to see," explained David Podmore, Chair of PavCo. "People see a lot of the exterior changes as they pass by BC Place, but there's just as many changes inside. In fact, BC Place looks and feels like a new building. So, we’re inviting the community to bring their cameras and take a look inside as we continue our work and head towards our opening weekend - the BC Lions home game on September 30th and Vancouver Whitecaps on October 2nd."
