85,000 GUESTS VISIT THE AUTO SHOW

Vancouver, BC (April 12, 2012): Total attendance at the 2012 Vancouver International Auto Show at BC Place from April 3-8 reached 85,053 according to a statement released by the owners of the show, the New Car Dealers Association of BC.

The figure represents an increase of five per cent over last year’s attendance.

In addition, the association reports a record crowd on Good Friday, and increased Easter weekend numbers compared to the Auto Show in 2010, which was the last year in which the show coincided with the Easter long weekend. The Clean Energy Vehicle (CEV) Showcase and TruckCity were singled out as being among the most popular exhibits this year, along with returning favourites Classic Alley and SuperCars.
